Latent racism

So you walk into a dry cleaners or tailor that you've never used before. You're greeted by an Asian person with a thick accent.

Does this make you feel less comfortable than if the person had an American accent?

It absolutely doesn't bother me. Honestly.

It only bothers me if the person's accent is so thick that I'm worried about them understanding me.

Yeah, it actually does bother me a little. Sometimes. Though I usually feel bad about that.

Actually, I'm more comfortable with the accented person, because stereotypes lead me to believe that they're more studious and careful with their work, or less likely to cheat me, or something.
